Screenshot of the week: AM Broadcast Band
Lots of spikes for AM Broadcast carriers every 10kc. Strong local signals
on 950 and 1240kc. Receiving equipment in my apartment consists of a
homebrew loop, a Ramsey PR2, and ... that's it. The interface from the
pickup loop to the 50ohm system does a good job of Q spoiling so the
loop is nice and broad tuned.
